Lotus Evora Cup Race Car

The Lotus Evora Cup Racer, which has a price tag of £120,000 plus taxes, was revealed at the Geneva Motor Show. This car will soon be eligible for racing in the GT4 category and an innovative one-make Lotus Evora Cup. Only good comments have been heard from Lotus F1 driver Jarno Trulli, who tested the car last month at Snetterton. Trulli had said that the car will be given new updates soon but already, he thinks that the car has "huge potential."

Trulli, who will race for the Lotus F1 team this season, had been working with Gianluca Pisanello, his race engineer at the F1 team, at Snetterton. Trulli and Pisanello are slated to be coordinating further on developing the Evora later in the season.

Powering the car is a 4.0-liter V6 with over 392bhp. Lotus further claims that the road car has a 276bhp 3.5-liter V6 powerplant. In addition, the car has a dry sump and Cima six-speed sequential paddle shift dog gearbox. Aside from standard safety equipment, other modifications include adjustable dampers, six-piston front brake calipers and two piece aluminum belled brake discs.
