Lamborghini has introduced the Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera at the Geneva Motor Show, which would cause jaws to hit the ground once you hear of its amazing abilities.
The car has a generous helping of carbonfiber and polycarbonate as seen on its side and rear windows. As a result, the car only weighs 1,340 Kilograms (2954 lb), making it 70 kilograms (154 lb) lighter than the Gallardo LP 560-4 it is based on.
This gives it the record of being the lightest road creature in Lambo's current range. The engine generates 10hp more to 570hp, giving the hypercar a weight to power ratio of 2.35 kilograms per hp.
The car can accelerate to 100km/h in 3.4 seconds and can go up to 200km/h in 10.2 seconds. Top speed is 325 km/h (202 mph).
According to Lamborghini, the Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera has new aerodynamic features including a redesigned front apron, a fully covered underbody, a fresh diffuser and a bespoke rear spoiler.
It even has a big rear spoiler option. It may be a hypercar but passengers will appreciate its air conditioning and electric power window.
It has interior carbon fiber elements, such as the center tunnel cover and the door panels, compensating for the weight of the comfort features. There are also features such as exterior matching seat trims and stitching.
