Italdesign Giugiaro a.k.a. the Italian design company owned by Volkswagen, unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show the Parcour crossover based on the Lamborghini running gear. The Giugiaro Parcour Concept was created as both a coupe and a roadster an it is powered by the 5.2-liter V10 engine found on the Lamborghini Gallardo and uses an all-drive drive system.
According to Italdesign Giugiaro, the concept blends elements from SUVs, crossovers, GTs as well as sports cars. The Giugiaro Parcour is 4530 mm long, 2070 mm wide and 1335 mm high. Despite its dimensions, it can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.6 seconds and has a top speed of 199 mph or almost 320 km/h.
Furthermore, the Parcour Concept features a hydraulic system that can adjust the height from 210 mm to 330 mm. The exterior design of the car is completed by the big 22-inch alloy wheels. According to the manufacturer, the concept is inspired by parkour, which is a sport where you adapt your body to cross obstacles in any given environment.
