At the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, Alpina will bring its customized B4 Bi-Turbo Cabrio based on the 2014 BMW 4-Series Cabriolet. Continuing the Alpina tradition, the B8 Bi-Turbo Cabrio will be equipped with a new body kit consisting of a new front bumper, the well-known front lip spoiler featuring the ‘Alpina’ lettering, a rear lip spoiler and a new rear bumper with integrated exhaust system and air diffuser.
Moreover, the B4 Bi-Turbo Cabrio features Alpina graphics on the side as well as a new set of 20-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels. Inside, we expect to see the custom door sills plates featuring the ’Alpina’ lettering, a new sport steering wheel and new sport seats with the Alpina logo embroidered on the headrests.
Under the hood, there is the twin-turbo 3.0-liter six-cylinder petrol engine that delivers 410 hp (301 kW) and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque.
Using the 8-speed automatic transmission the Alpina B4 Bi-Turbo Cabrio hits 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.5 seconds and has a top speed electronically limited to 301 km/h or 187 mph. Pricing for the 2014 Alpina B4 Bi-Turbo Cabrio starts at 74,800 euros and will go on sale this spring.
