Qoros has introduced a unique brand identity on the Qoros 3 Sedan that will be carried by the automaker’s future models. The new brand profile is first featured on the elegant Qoros 3 Sedan – with its long wheelbase, short overhangs and a coupé-like silhouette as well as a roof line that flows seamlessly into the car’s strong rear quarters.
The Qoros 3 Sedan measures 4,615 mm long and 1,839 mm wide, making it relatively large for the compact segment, allowing it to offer ample interior space. The Qoros 3 Sedan comes with two gasoline engine choices, both featuring variable valve timing (VVT). The first engine is a naturally-aspirated four-cylinder 1.6-litre powerplant that could provide up to 93 kW (126 bhp) of output and 155 Nm of torque.
The second one is a turbocharged four-cylinder 1.6-litre engine that could provide up to 115 kW (156 bhp) of output and 210 Nm of torque. Both engines are matched with a six-speed manual transmission as standard, with an optional six-speed dual clutch transmission available. A stop-start system will also be available from the launch of the Qoros 3 Sedan in China.
Qoros, through the support of AVL, is developing a three-cylinder 1.2-litre turbocharged engine as well as a four-cylinder 1.6-litre turbocharged engine, both endowed with GDI (gasoline direct injection). All Qoros 3 Sedan variants will have advanced eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system as standard.
