Geneva Preview: 2010 Lancia Ypsilon Elle Edition

2010 Lancia Ypsilon Elle EditionThe Chrysler and Lancia marques have in common a liking for well-designed special-edition models. At the Detroit Auto Show, Chrysler released several vehicles such as the 300 S6 and S8 and for the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, Lancia will make the same strides. The vehicle that‚ expected to get the most attention at Lancia‚ display is the Ypsilon ELLE, which aims to be as glamorous as the magazine it was named after. On the car‚ moldings, we see the stamping of ‚Äúje ne saurais vivre sans elle‚Äù or "I could never live without her" repeatedly. The car received a matte pink paint job, two-tone leather seating, and chrome interior trim. This special-edition model will be offered in a limited number of European markets. If this still isn‚Äôt classy enough for you, you might want to check out how Lancia prettied up its Musa five-door subcompact. The Musa was inspired by an ad spot that featured Audrey Hepburn. It receives unique wheels, quilted white leather seats, and a black vinyl roof treatment. These packages are conceptual for now but if it generates enough attention, surely Lancia would let it go into production. Photo gallery after the jump!
