Peugeot SR1 Concept

At this year's Geneva Motor Show, Peugeot will unveil a new concept dubbed SR1, a new two-door hardtop showing a lighter, more elegant look for future Peugeot cars. Although the concept's front-end is less aggressive than the big cat look of current Peugeots. According to the manufacturer the SR1 revisits the great traditions of grand touring cars of the past such as a large bonnet, flowing wings and a very low centre of gravity. The new concept is powered by an 1.6-liter gasoline engine capable to deliver 160 kW (218 bhp) but also by a rear electric motor developing 70 kW (95 bhp). In electric only mode, the car becomes a ZEV (Zero Emission Vehicle), while its combined cycle fuel consumption is only 4.9 litres/100 km or 119 g/km of CO2.
