Geneva Preview: Protoscar LAMPO 2
Protoscar has a new concept, the Protoscar LAMPO 2, which it will debut at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show on March 2. Two electric motors, one for each axle, power the Protoscar LAMPO 2, enabling it to have four-wheel drive with variable torque between the axles.
A 30 kWh Lithium-Ion battery is attached to the engine of the Protoscar LAMPO 2, letting it achieve an output of 260 kW (350 hp) and 600 Nm of torque. With this powertrain, the Protoscar LAMPO 2 can reach 100 km/h in 5 seconds and get to a top speed of more than 200 km/h and a range of around 200 km. There are four ways to recharge this vehicle. One is the DC fast charging that can give it 100 km of additional range with just 10 minutes plug-in time. For those who don’t know, the first Protoscar LAMPO was revealed this year, at the Geneva Motor Show. You can check it here! Photo gallery after the jump!
