It has been announced that Artega, a low-volume German sports car manufacturer, was sold to a Mexican investment company.
Tresalia Capital, because this is the name of the Mexican company, taken the complete control over Artega and already appointed BMW engineer Wolfgang Ziebartto (the man behid the Bmw Z8 and the Aston Martin Vantage) run the company on a day-to-day basis. Artega has currently one car in production, called GT (shown in the photo), which is powered by a VW-sourced 3.6-litre V6 engine mated to a six-speed dual-clutch gearbox and has a chassis constructed from aluminium while the bodywork is made predominantly from carbonfibre. After a first drive in the Artega GT, I have spontaneously agreed to further accompany this car and I will do everything to make it a success,” said Ziebartto.
