2010 Rolls-Royce Ghost

After Rolls-Royce launched the Ghost, its sales have quickly increased. In fact, its sales have more than doubled in the first 10 months of 2010 to more than 2000 units, according to boss Torsten Muller-Otovos. The Ghost currently makes up about three-quarters of Rolls’ sales. About 80% of those who buy it are new to the marque and are 10 years younger than Phantom buyers on average.

Sales have increased by 360% in the US and 250% in Europe. Asia-Pacific sales have risen eight-fold, while UK sales have increased by 50%. The Rolls-Royce range comprises four models: Phantom, Phantom Drophead Coupé, Phantom Coupé and Ghost. Interestingly, over 100 customers have purchased an example of all four cars.

Last week, Rolls-Royce confirmed plans to add three new variants (long-wheelbase, drophead coupe and coupe) to the Ghost range in the next three years.
