At last GM has agreed to sell its suffering Saturn brand to a consortium led by automotive industry legend Roger Penske. The deal, which will be announced later today, consists of Penske adding Saturn brand and its autonomous showroom network to his current portfolio of 310 global dealerships. It must be remembered that Penske has already exclusive rights to distribute the Smart microcar lineup in the US, and he will clearly continue to offer GM-manufacture Saturn cars at first, then he will be importing foreign products from foreign carmakers.
