It appears that GM has big plans and wants to revive the Electra as the American manufacturer registered the name as a trademark, according to U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. For those who don’t know, the Buick Electra was a full-sized premium vehicle built by GM. The Electra name was used by Buick between 1959 and 1990. Still, we don’t have a clue regarding the upcoming car form Buick, but we do know that on June 5, GM registered the name and said in the application that it will use the mark with automobiles. Currently, Buick markets the Verano, Regal and LaCrosse sedans but also the Enclave crossover in the United States. For the 2013MY, Buick will launch the Encore small crossover.
