GM suing Cadence Innovation! Camaro production delayed!

Following months of teaser photos, concepts and ultimately the real McCoy, all that's left for the latest Chevrolet Camaro is to start the assembly line running so the vehicle can reach the street next year. But there may be some hitch. General Motors is suing Cadence Innovation, a bankrupt interior parts provider that is shutting down, to retrieve parts and equipment it required for the Camaro. In typical business practice, GM gave the parts and machines to Cadence to build the Camaro components. But although Cadence is going out of business, it hasn't been in a hurry to return the equipment, as some firm bosses have tried to cook up a buyout to preserve the firm. GM says that if it fails to retrieve the production equipment by Jan. 12, the commencement of Camaro manufacture will suffer a setback.
