GM to extend eBay partnership

Not only will GM continue to sell new cars on eBay, it is also considering extending the program nationwide. The program has been met positively and has raised customer awareness of current Buick, Chevrolet, GMC, and Buick products. GM says that the partnership has attracted one million visitors to the eBay sub-site and has led 4,000 buyers to contact GM dealerships to ask about the deals they saw online. However, reports are saying that only about 50 vehicles have sold through gm.ebay.com itself. As of the moment, the program only includes 225 dealerships in California. GM will extend this program throughout the country as well as add extra 2010 model-year vehicles to the online listings.
