Chevrolet Camaro Z28

It is rumored that a patent was filed recently by Chevrolet that covers the Z28 name used on former Camaro models. This move can be justified by several reasons such as guarding the name and expectations of potential uses in the future as well as having a specific product in the works. The muscle car segment will probably be exciting in the next several years. The badge is also something that GM has immediate plans for. One theory is that it is the replacement for the current Camaro SS model as soon as the Holden Commodore-based Chevrolet SS is released. It’s also possible that the Z28 has a better performance than the ZL1. Ford’s Shelby GT500 is really very powerful. The Z28 name may lead to the creation of another bracket in the lower end Camaro range, particularly since Ford intends to offer a turbocharged four cylinder engine in its next generation Mustang. It has a range of four- six- and eight-cylinder range, which means that it could do better than the Camaro when it comes to board marketability. It should be noted that Ford is boldly moving towards increasing the global marketability of its pony car. [source: Autoblog]
