GM wants you to forget about the ‘Chevy’ nickname

You remember when you were a little child and had a nickname; everybody used that nickname and some of the kids around the block didn't even know your name. Once you went to college or simply grew up, you wanted everyone to forget your nickname because it was kind of embarrassing. It appears that GM wants to tell us the same thing: that its Chevrolet brand grew up and you should forget about the "Chevy" nickname. "We hope people around the world will continue to fall in love with Chevrolets and smile when they call their favorite car, truck or crossover Chevy," said GM in a statement!
