Gumpert Apollo Speed breaks cover in Geneva

nd full specs of the new model have been made available. It is powered by a 4,163 cm3 V8 powerplant with 5 valves per cylinder, 4 overhead camshafts, hydraulic valve clearance compensation, a dual-flow exhaust system with 3-way catalytic converter dry sump lubrication.
The car can generate 700hp (515kW) at an engine speed of 6,500 rpm and 875Nm (645.3lb-ft) of torque at 4,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a sequential 6-speed gearbox with synchronization and oil cooling that channel power to the rear wheels. The Gumpert Apollo Speed comes with a Torsen differential lock. Acceleration rate for the Apollo Speed is 3.0 seconds from standstill to 100km/h and 8.9 seconds from 0-200km/h while the maximum speed is logged in at 360km/h (224mph).
