Hertz adds the Lotus Elise SC to its fleet

Lotus has come to an agreement with car rental company Hertz to allow its cars to be hired in Italy. Beginning mid-July, Lotus Elise SCs, which come in Hertz's trademark yellow and have a customized interior, will be available. The Lotus Elise and the Lotus Exige will be perfect for those who desire exclusive and high performance motoring. Lotus CEO Mike Kimberly said that he is glad of the opportunity to make [Lotus] stunning world class sportscars available to the rental market. Giuseppe Caminiti, fleet director for Hertz Italiana, said, The deal mirrors previous partnerships between Ford and Hertz to rent out exclusive versions of the Mustang. We launched the Hertz Fun Collection last year to give our customers the possibility to drive the cars they have always dreamt of driving.
