Honda denies rumors that it intends to end production of its slow-selling Legend luxury saloon. Honda chief executive officer Takanobu Ito said that in the US, the V6 model is a “necessary model” while in Japan, it has a “small but strong fan base.”
The rumors that started in Japan also resulted to worries about its fate in the US. Known as the Acura RL in the US, this vehicle is the flagship sedan of the Acura brand. In the first half of the year, Honda was only able to sell 872 RLs. Last year, this model was axed after generating slow sales.
