Honda Jazz hybrid coming in 2010

Honda will be increasing its hybrid range for 2010 with a gasoline-electric Jazz hybrid.The first hybrid supermini in the world will be run by the same mechanicals as the upcoming Insight hatch. That means a 1.3-lit3r gasoline powerplant, supported by an electric motor. In a vehicle the proportion and mass of the Jazz that should convert into some impressive economy and lower CO2 emissions. The vehicle is anticipated to generate about 80mpg and 90g/km CO2 emissions. Honda believes that a hybrid Jazz will aid it to attain its objective of selling 500,000 hybrids per year worldwide. It will be the firm's third hybrid after the Insight, scheduled to go on sale next March, and the CR-Z coupe, which will be here by 2010.
