Honda working on active aerodynamics

Honda working on active aerodynamics

Honda Logo

Within five short years, Honda will be introducing the active aerodynamics technology on its next generation of cars. Nobuki Ebisawa, Honda's R&D managing director, said that active aero would be introduced to get away from the high, cut off tail that characterizes cars such as the Insight and forthcoming CR-Z. Honda seeks to achieve the optimum shape for improving airflow over the roof and rear of the car. If you're thinking that the appearance would drastically change, Ebisawa puts that thought to rest since he said that there were other solutions to cutting drag and improving aerodynamic efficiency.
