HPP Daytona based on Dodge Challenger
For most people, the Dodge Challenger already looks quite retro but the tuners at Heide Performance Products have decided to emphasize that look with its HPP Daytona package. Essentially, it is a Dodge Charger Daytona re-imagined on a Challenger chassis. The HPP Daytona was first shown to the public at the SEMA Show a few weeks ago.
It is basically a Challenger R/T with the 5.7-liter HEMI that had been dolled-up a bit. Styling cues of the classic Charger were added to the new Challenger but performance wasn’t tweaked. It’s intriguing to see how the new nose cone fits perfectly with the new Challenger’s lines. The faux side details are unfortunate but its monster wings are very impressive.
