Hublot Classic Fusion Yacht Club de Monaco Limited Edition Watch

Hublot Classic Fusion Yacht Club de Monaco Limited Edition WatchTo celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Monaco Yacht Club, a prestigious Only Watch 2009 auction is being held at the Monaco Yacht Show. Figuring prominently in the celebration is the club’s pride, the Tuiga, which is a yacht from 1909. That’s why the name of the yacht is also placed on this new timepiece from Hublot, which wants to help celebrate the Tuiga Centenary.

Among the photos included in this report is one of Hublot CEO Jean-Claude Biver handing one of the watches off with the ruler of Monaco (and yacht + watch aficionado) HSH Prince Albert. The watch has the club’s flags on it as well as some centenary imagery. The timepiece is really just the three hand version of the Hublot Big Bang watch in 18k rose gold with a black ceramic bezel, and a carbonfiber face. The case is 45mm wide and is composed of a fair amount of titanium and rubber in the construction. The movement is the HUB1100 automatic, with Hublot’s black rotor. The watch is water resistant to 100 meters. Only 100 pieces of the Hublot Classic Fusion Yacht Club de Monaco watch will be made. Pricing has yet to be announced but expect it to be out of reach for the average man.
