Hyundai’s range-topping Premium trim is now also available on its current i30 line-up, including the Hatchback and Tourer models. Coming as standard on the Premium trim are features that offer customers with excellent value for their money. The Premium trim includes all the standard equipment that were only available in the Convenience and Individual packages, plus several additional features. The exterior of the Premium models will be sporting a new 17-inch alloy wheel design, chrome door handles with illumination, and automatically folding door mirrors with built-in puddle lamps. The interior of these Premium models will don a number of additional standard features over Style Nav like leather upholstery, automatically dimming rear view mirror and electric driver’s seat with lumbar support, heated front seats.
Premium models will also feature keyless entry with engine start/stop button and a supervision cluster with LCD colour display. It also gets a height adjustable passenger seat. A Premium buyer could avail of engine options: a 120PS 1.6-litre petrol paired with manual gearbox for the Hatchback; and a 1.6-litre CRDi 128PS diesel paired with of either a manual or automatic transmission for on both Hatchback and Tourer. With the Premium model at hand, the Convenience and Individual packs, which cost around £750 and £1,000 respectively on Style and Style Nav models, will no longer be available. A Premium buyer could have an optional tilt-and-slide Panoramic sunroof installed for an additional cost of only £950.
Style and Style Nav models, meanwhile, could be availed with the 1.6-litre CRDi 128PS diesel engine paired with automatic transmission for both the Hatchback and the Tourer, replacing the existing 110PS automatic. The 1.6 CRDi 110PS Blue Drive models will now only be available on the Classic and Active trim. The higher-powered 1.6 CRDi 128PS diesel engine is now only available for the top three trims.
