Hyundai Equus interior revealed

The latest replacement for the Hyundai flagship Equus is currently in the works and advance images of its exterior have surfaced. Dubbed as the 'VI' sedan, the upcoming vehicle is set to premiere in South Korea at the end of February, and no plans have been set to offer the car to either Europe of America. The VI will be powered by a lineup of V6 and V8 gasoline powerplants, which include the 3.8-liter Lambda V6 and a 4.6-liter Tau V8. A long wheelbase variant that will also be available will come with a 5.0-liter variant of the Tau V8 engine.
Other released photos preview the VI's interior and establishes the fact that it will preserve the Equus brand name. Initially produced in 1998 with the partnership of Mitsubishi, the Hyundai Equus has remained almost the same since. Although it was intended only for the local South Korean market, it has seen sales elsewhere.
In Japan it is known as the Proudia and it is known as the Hyundai Centennial in both Europe and the Middle-East. The latest VI model will come with a RDW configuration to compete against the finest sedans of Germany. Measuring 5,160mm (L) by 1,900mm (W) and 1,495mm (H), the new VI will be longer, broader and higher than the current version. The VI will feature some advanced safety elements such as the latest vehicle stability system, lane departure system which is camera-based, pre-safe seatbelt technology and LED improved head and tail lights.
