Hyundai Genesis gets some improvements, loses the 4.6-liter V8 for the 2013MY

2013 Hyundai Genesis

The 2013 Hyundai Genesis will receive several technological improvements, which include an eight inch touch screen and a bigger 64 GB drive. The 3.8-liter V6 car’s technology package and 5.0-liter V8′s R-Spec trim levels are now offered with the optional eight-inch screen, together with Hyundai’s new ultimate navigation system with Blue Link telematics. The new display provides a new structure that’s intended to be more intuitive, an improved voice-recognition system and new hot keys so that the driver could control the infotainment system. With the standard 64 GB hard drive, the driver could store music, video and images. The navigation system will receive upgrades such as displaying the active speed limit, giving details about the next three turns, offering real pictures of future street signs and indicating which lane the driver has to be in when approaching a juncture in the road. Additional features that raise the driver’s convenience are voice text messaging, recall advisor, stolen vehicle recovery and an eco-coach. The 2013 Genesis will also be available with the 4.6-liter V8 option. The 5.0-liter direct-injected Tau V8 engine is offered exclusively with the R-Spec package.
