It appears that Honda’s CEO Takanobu Ito admitted that Hyundai is a huge threat to the future of Japanese automakers as the manufacturer seen strong sales growth across the world in the last few years. “Hyundai is awesome! They are undoubtedly a threat because their products are cheap, and the quality is improving.” said Takanobu.

Honda’s CEO is not the only person who admitted that Hyundai is a huge threat! His words were also echoed by designer Shiro Nakamura from Nissan. “Hyundai is the biggest threat for the Japanese automakers. They have the technology, but they seem to have cheaper labour.” said Nakamura.
