Hyundai planning a coupe based on the 2011 Sonata

According to the latest reports, it appears that Hyundai is planning a 2-door coupe version of the brand new 2011 Sonata, which was recently unveiled last month. Although some reports pointed the Veloster Concept as the upcoming coupe from the Korean manufacturer, it seems that the concept will be built in the shape of a 3-door Accent. The Sonata Coupe will be a larger coupe and will borrow the same front end from the sedan while the rear hints at a CTS-Coupe. Under the hood it is possible to find the 2.4-liter GDI engine capable to deliver around 200 hp.
