Hyundai finally disclosed to the public the specifications and full pricing for its new generation i30 hatchback. The new i30 will rely on the success of its outgoing predecessor, which was widely known for its quality and maneuverability. The new i30 comes with a fresh style, better interior quality and newer technology, filled with rational and emotional appeal.
The new i30 is available in four interior trim options -- Classic, Active, Style and Style Nav, and five engine choices – diesel or petrol, including variations. Variations include Hyundai’s latest ultra-efficient 1.6-litre diesel unit with CO2 emissions of less than 100g/km. The new i30also comes in two transmission options – manual and automatic. All 1.6 CRDi manual models are fitted with the company’s Blue Drive and Intelligent Stop & Go technologies.
The i30 comes in two available outputs – 110PS and 128PS. The 110PS units boast of being the lowest CO2 emitting car in the C-segment with 97g/km. The 128PS, meanwhile, is an ideal efficient car, in which buyers do not only get a powerful engine, but also helps the environment with low emissions and low fuel consumption. First unveiled in 2007, the latest version of the i30 will roll out in the United Kingdom on March 12, 2012 with a starting price of £14,495. The i30 comes with insurance ratings from Group 7E.
