Inden Design, the Mercedes-Benz tuner has just made available a fresh tuning package for the CLK cabrio that is motivated by the exclusive CLK DTM AMG version that Mercedes made available two years ago. The Inden Design package is virtually a copy of the CLK DTM package, and like the original it is once again offered for both the coupe and cabrio models of the CLK.
The kit consists of a front spoiler that appears almost the same to the one from the original DTM road-going racer, and also comprises of a rear diffuser and broader rear wheel arches. There is also a carbon-fiber rear wing created in te same vein to the authentic CLK DTM, as well as a new boot lid, 18in alloy wheels and performance rubber.
For the cabin, Inden has put in place a 22-piece carbon-package on many and differing accents such as the center armrest in the rear bench and the center console. While visually appealing, the Inden Design CLK DTM may be quite difficult to pick apart from the original Mercedes model, the difference being the engine under the hood. While the AMG-tuned CLK DTM came with a 5.4L supercharged V8 motor, the Inden Design version comes with the standard 302hp (225kW) 5.0L V8 found in the CLK 500.
