The Infiniti Essence Concept shown at the Geneva Motor Show four months past has become the basis for the Japanese luxury brand's future design. The Essence, a RWD luxury coupe intended for a 592hp gasoline-electric hybrid powertrain will be participating in the 2009 Goodwood Festival of Speed's traditional climb up the hill. This marks the concept model's first performance in public. The car is displayed at the FoS-TECH pavilion when it is not running on course. The Infiniti G37 Convertible is set to join the Essence at the Festival of Speed and on the climb up the hill. To guide it on the course will be two British Infiniti drivers. The Infiniti G37 Convertible is already on the US market and will hit markets in the UK this coming September.Regarding the Essence Coupe, reports indicate a debut in 2010!
