According to the latest reports, it appears that Infiniti is seriously considering bringing the upcoming hybrid M saloon to Europe by 2011. The car, which is scheduled to make its U.S. debut in 2010 will use a 3.7-litre petrol V6 engine billed as a "very compact electric motor" powered by lithium ion batteries. This type of technology was previewed in the Essence Concept shown at this year's Geneva Motor Show! But there is also a marketing problem though: how will Infiniti sell the diesel-engined M alongside the hybrid M? [via autocar]
