It appears that Jaguar has big plans for this year’s Paris Motor Show, as the British manufacturer will unveil a dramatic new sports cars concept which will preview its styling directions. Although there are no official details regarding this new car, it seems that it will be about the size of an XK and inspired by the Porsche 918 Spyder Concept unveiled earlier this year at the Geneva Motor Show. The bad news is that the concept will not see a production version and marks the end of one design phase for Jaguar and the beginning of another. As expected, a major change will be the front grille, and the new concept will features a single grille design , based on the oblong XF/XJ design. Just like the Porsche 918 Spyder, the new car will also carry an electric motor, transforming it for very short distances into a full-electric vehicle! [via autocar]
