Jaguar has launched two new vehicle models that are set to join the lineup of the award-winning XF in the form of the Sport and SE Business variants. The launch was made on the same day that BusinessCar named XF as the 'Executive Car of the Year.' Paul Barker, Editor of BusinessCar, said that the Jaguar XF has proven its appeal to the business vehicle market with its stylish appearance and excellent running costs. He added that Jaguar has "worked hard" to enhance the vehicle's car's attractiveness to corporate drivers with the first-rate new 2.2-liter engine. The automaker is also making further improvements that will only boost the XF's chances of still earning the award in 2013.
The SE Business model is matched with the latest 2.2-liter Diesel 163 PS output engine. It features a satellite navigation system with an HDD mapping and a seven-inch touchscreen. Among the standard equipment offered in this model are the intelligent start stop, leather and suedecloth seats, bi-Xenon headlights and a 400W sound system with DAB digital radio. On the other hand, the Sport variant is founded on the 2.2 Diesel 190 PS engine and adds the full aerodynamic pack launched on the Diesel S.
The model includes a revamped front bumper, side sill extensions, a black grille element, a subtle rear boot lid spoiler and a black rear valance that creates a luxurious but imposing look. The interior of the Sport features half leather suede-cloth seats, dove contrast stitch, and bond grain trim. It also has an electric driver and passenger adjustment. The model also has piano-black trim with 'Sport' decals on the center console, joined by stainless steel foot pedals. Among the useful additions are heated front windscreen and front seats, 60/40 folding rear seats and a front parking aid plus a reversing camera. The SE Business and Sport are now available for ordering for as low as £31,500 (OTR) and £34,950 (OTR), respectively.
