As part of Jaguar’s expansion plans, it will release versions of its products that will be even more extreme and would offer the ultimate in luxury. Global brand director Adrian Hallmark confirmed this plan, adding that this change is inspirational and comes after the success of f £100,000-plus models like the XKR-S. This model is the most powerful mass-produced Jaguar ever while the XJ Ultimate edition, comes with a very lavish cabin. Its other upgrades like the Speed Pack styling for the XF have also been successful, specifically in China and Russia. Hallmark added that it has become clear from its research that Jaguar’s brand name is strong enough to be a part of this type of business. Jaguar said that it has proven that it could push the brand further up the market. Hallmark declined to provide more details but he emphasized that this is just the prerequisite to being able to expand into new markets such as the mooted small saloon and crossover. He said that customers would have to expand and protect the brand.
