Jaguar, which is known for its radical concepts, is releasing the Black Pack, an enhancement package for the XF saloon. Jaguar’s British division is offering this factory kit that improves the XF’s exterior with a moderate approach. To boost its position in the market, Jaguar constantly makes steps forward. At the recent Paris Auto Show, it unveiled the C-X75, an eco hypercar. The Black Pack is a new option that’s applicable to the XF diesel, XF V8 5.0 and XFR models. Getting this package means that the XF will be painted in a special color and will ride on 20-inch Draco lightweight alloy rims that have a gloss black grille and window trim.
There is a broad range of exterior finishes for the vehicle, including Polaris White, Spectrum Blue, Ultimate Black, Stratus Grey, Lunar Grey and Liquid Silver, as well as the Kyanite Blue and Salsa Red, which are offered only for the XFR model. Drivers may also combine the Black Pack with the Aerodynamic Pack on the Diesel S models. The Aerodynamic Pack comes with a redesigned front fascia that has a more aggressive appearance, a front grille that uses black mesh inserts, and some XFR side sills.
"The Black Pack gives the XF a highly distinctive, very modern and a slightly edgy appearance," said Geoff Cousins, Managing Director, Jaguar UK. "Since the Black Pack and Speed Pack were launched on the XKR sports car at the Geneva Motor Show, almost half of XKR coupe buyers have selected one or both options – double our original estimate – and we expect the Black Pack will generate just as much excitement amongst XF customers."
