Jaguar will be displaying its XKR-S, XK Special Edition, XJ Ultimate and XF Sportbrake vehicles at the upcoming Supercar Show and Chubb Insurance Concours d’Elégance at Salon Privé. Salon Privé 2012, which would take place on September 5 to 7, 2012, at Syon Park, London, has been tagged as bigger and better, as it is targeted to contain more exhibitions and previews from the worlds of luxury -- automotive, aviation, jewelry, marine, horology and technology. For the event, British luxury carmaker will be showcasing only award-winning and world-renowned premium models. One of these vehicles will be the XKR-S convertible, which holds the Sports Car of the Year title from Auto Bild, a German motoring magazine.
The XKR-S convertible could accelerate to 60 mph in just 4.2 seconds on the way to achieve a top speed of 186 mph. To be shown alongside the XKR-S will be the XK Special Edition, which boasts of several enhancements to its handcrafted cabin with Jaguar design team-specified interiors. It also features some modest exterior modifications like new wheels and colours. Jaguar’s stand in the Salon Privé 2012 will also showcase the XJ Ultimate, which is considered as the acme of the luxurious, groundbreaking Jaguar experience with new levels of lavishness for rear seat passengers.
Enhancements for the XJ Ultimate include two individually tailored rear seats trimmed in semi-aniline fine Scottish leather. The seats features power adjustment and recline, massage function and climate controls. The XJ Ultimate also features a rear business table, which could be placed into position at the touch of a button. The piano-black trimmed table is complete with customised champagne flutes.
