Jaguar XJ-R rendered for the first time! Bad or not?

Rumors have been circulating that Jaguar will be launching a new XJ-R to take on the Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG. No official confirmation has been released so far but that didn't stop AutoGespot from creating a couple of renderings to depict what the XJ-R may look like if it goes into production. From these, we can surmise that the XJ-R takes some cues from XF-R and would feature new front and rear fascias, hood vents, and a four-tailpipe exhaust system. It's also likely that a modified version of the supercharged 5.0-liter V8 from the XF-R and the XJ Supersport will be used. With more than 510 hp generated, the XJ-R could easily accelerate from 0-60 mph in around 4.5 seconds. [source autogespot via worldcarfans]
