Jaguar XKR Special Edition coming to Goodwood Festival of Speed

For those who don't know, this coming weekend we will see the Goodwood Festival of Speed which, according to the long tradition, will bring the latest and fastest cars in the world. Now here is the big surprise: Jaguar announced that it will being its state-of-the-art XKR featuring an unspecified power upgrade over the normal 510 hp developed by the 5.0-liter V8 engine and by the custom exhaust system. Also, the vehicle will feature a lime green color, new headlight surrounds, bonnet louvers and stain-graphite detailing on the front grille. According to Jaguar's ride and handling chief engineer Mike Cross, the new vehicle, dubbed Goodwood Special XKR, is meant to show the XKR's character and take it to the limits at the well-known hillclimb event.
