Jeep is set to introduce a limited-edition model dubbed the Jeep Wrangler Moab to start off the launch of its 2013 lineup. It is named after Moab, Utah – a very famous off-road destination in the world. This is also the home of the annual Moab Easter Jeep Safari. The Jeep Wrangler Moab is based on the premium Sahara model and features plenty of features for off-roading such as a set of gloss black 17-inch Rubicon alloy wheels that are covered in new 245/75R17 Goodyear Silent Armor off-road tires with Kevlar reinforcement, a standard Trac-Lok anti-spin rear differential with an available electronic rear locking differential, winch-ready steel bumpers and premium rock rails.
The Wrangler Moab has a crawl ratio of 45:1 when it is equipped with a manual transmission and a 3.73 rear axle ratio. Its exterior gets a unique Mopar power dome hood, black fuel filler door and tail lamp guards. It will also get the premium soft top (new for the 2013MY), “Moab” decals on the hood, black wheel arches, and matte black Jeep grille badge.
A body-color three-piece hard top is optional. Its interior revisions include black or saddle premium leather seating with black stitching on the newly-designed 2013 Wrangler seats, “Moab” embossed instrument panel grab handle, Mopar slush mats and Iron Gray trim on the vent rings, grab handles and steering wheel spokes. The Jeep Wrangler Moab is offered as a two-door Wrangler or four-door Wrangler Unlimited model. It is available in the following exterior colors: Crush, Dozer, Rock Lobster, Gecko, Black and Bright White.
