Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton join Ron Dennis and guests at McLaren London

McLaren Automotive celebrates the June 21 opening of its first dedicated McLaren retailer, which is called McLaren London, located at One Hyde Park, Knightsbridge. By the end of 2011, the company will have 35 bespoke retailers in 19 countries around the globe. The company has carefully selected all of these to provide the best in customer service and sales for a range of high-performance sports vehicle units, starting with the ground-breaking McLaren MP4-12C.
The star-studded opening celebration of McLaren London was hosted by Vodafone McLaren Mercedes drivers, Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button, as well as McLaren Group and McLaren Automotive Executive Chairman, Ron Dennis. The event celebrated ‘Defining Moments in Time’, recognizing the launch of the international network of McLaren vehicle retailers, and the launch of the first "pure" McLaren sports vehicle.
In addition, the event presented past McLaren track successes with iconic trophies and two of the race-winning Formula 1 cars of Lewis Hamilton. According to Ron Dennis, they are "fiercely proud" of the McLaren brand. He added that he looks forward to delivering great vehicles to their retailers, knowing that they all share a common objective, which is to be driven to succeed and to be the best at everything that they do.
