We have to admit that creating a tuning package for an Aston Martin DB9 is very hard but as usual, Project Kahn managed to create something different. The Ferrari Bianco white Project Kahn DB9 Aston Martin Volante is a mix of style, elegance, majesty, tradition, comfort and practicality. And because we are talking about Project Kahn, don’t expect to see something flashy as the British tuner only added a Kahn Sports exhaust, Sports lowered suspension, red calipers and privacy glass.
The interior also received an upgrade and features black leather in cream stitching, secondary hide in cream and pearl grey interior detailing. Of course, the interior can be customized in every possible way. The design of the car is completed by the unique 20” RSV Kahn lightweight wheels, in matt pearl grey. The engine of the car remained untouched and the Aston Martin DB9 comes with the standard 6.0-litre V12 engine mated to a six-speed ZF automatic with paddle shift and rear wheel drive.
“The chassis on which the Kahn Volante also takes much of the credit - It's a mixture of extruded, stamped and die-cast aluminum, bonded together into an extremely light yet rigid superstructure. The shape, is beautifully proportioned and - unlike many convertible cars - looks the part whether the hood is up or down. The hood itself is a fully retractable soft top affair that folds down in 17 seconds, making it entirely possible to stow it when waiting at traffic lights without the risk of being embarrassingly caught half way through the process.” said the press release.
