Kia announced today the introduction of the new VR-7 Special Editions on two models – cee’d and pro_cee’d in the UK. This new special edition offers a a high level specification at excellent prices and includes additional equipment such as including reversing sensors and a number of other high level features. Available in 1.4 petrol manual models of both the cee’d and pro_cee’d, the new VR-7 Special Edition brings new 16inch Style ‘A’ Alloys, heated and electronically controlled door mirrors as well as a new colours.

Inside, the car are available with air conditioning, remote central locking and front electric windows, while Bluetooth functionality is available along with iPod connectivity. The sound system also received tweeter speakers. Leather trim is added to the steering wheel, gear shift, parking lever and the floor console/front arm rest. VR-7 Special Editions are available in four colours: White, Silver Storm, Phantom Black and Tempest Grey (which is unique to the Special Edition).

Regarding the safety system, the special edition comes with Electronic Stability Control with Hill Start Assist Control and Vehicle Stability Management as standard. Pricing starts at £11,695 for the 1.4 pro_cee’d VR-7 Special Edition while the 1.4 cee’d VR-7 Special Edition is priced from £11,995, while the metallic paint is priced at £415. Both cars are available with an industry pioneering seven year warranty.
