The new special edition 2010 Ignition Soul, which is the second of four design-centric special edition Souls Kia plans to release, has just been unveiled. Earlier this year, the first of the series -- the Denim Soul -- was launched. Ignition Souls is characterized by a special orange hue and is accented by bold black racing stripes. Features that are offered as standard include matte black 18-inch wheels with machined accents, a brushed aluminum fuel door, and a body kit that has a distinctive rear spoiler.
The Ignition is based on the Soul+ model and is outfitted with an upgraded audio system, iPod connectivity, and power moonroof. The special edition 2010 Soul Ignition is priced from $18,195 including $695 in freight costs. Its pricing is indicative of an Ignition being paired with the 5-speed manual transmission.
"Soul continues to demonstrate its styling versatility and ability to evolve," said Michael Sprague, vice president of marketing, KMA. "Ignition Soul offers consumers yet another way to express their individuality in a new way, packaged with the same value, safety and technology as the standard trims."
