Kia extends seven-year warranty across its entire range

Kia's entire range now has a seven-year warranty, which is the longest on offer in Europe. Previously, the seven-year warranty had only been available on Kia's European-built models, the Cee'd and Sportage. It will be limited to 100,000 miles and is transferable between owners. This warranty now applies to all Kia models that were sold and registered in Europe starting January 1, 2010, with the new Venga and Sorento models included. Paul Philpott, Kia Motors Europe's chief operating officer, said extending the warranty is a major step towards achieving its goal of becoming the world's number one carmaker for customer satisfaction. Michael Cole, Kia UK's managing director said that the warranty will be a boost to used values.
