After surpassing expectations in this downtrodden economy, Kia continues to be confident that in the coming years, it will be positioned well to achieve continued growth, especially with the entry of its new products. Unlike other car companies, Kia recorded an increase in worldwide sales of 40.4%.

There were year-on-year sales increases in every region, including China , North America and Europe , selling 155,223 units in September. Kia sold 9772 cars in the UK in September, raising Kia’s market share in the UK to 2.66%, a new record for the manufacturer. Hyoung-Keun Lee, president of Kia Motors said that the company is pleased to have recorded post sales growth across all markets this month despite the impending end of all scrappage schemes.
