Style, comfort and power: these are the words that best describe the latest CL65 Coupe since each of these qualities is found in the coupe and more.
The elegance of the coupe comes from the CL 65‚ elegant yet powerful body. Kicherer improves its exterior with carbon parts of the highest quality. This carbon package consists of a front grill, mirror shells, a rear diffuser and a front apron with a deflector constructed from precious material. The chassis moves the car about 25 millimeters closer to the tarmac and provides it with a much more athletic characteristic. At the rear, the mirror-finished stainless steel exhaust system with four magnificent tailpipes is combined into a dynamical unity that offers powerful acoustic qualities as well. The 9 and 10 x 20” Kicherer RS-X lightweight wheels are an extra feature and will be available beginning the first quarter of 2009.
Because of it slong spokes, the rim seems to appear bigger without decreasing its stylishness. Pure luxury is to be found in the interior. Special quilted nappa leather seats, a hand-crafted shag pile carpet covering the whole legroom, carbon intarsia and a matching alcantara ceiling.
Power is found under the hood with a V12 biturbo engine that originally generates 612 hp and 1,000 Nm, but has even pushed to produce more performance. After the Kicherer modifications, the engine currently produces 650 hp (with over 140 hp more thank the Kicherer CL60) and 1.200 Nm to propel the heavy luxury glider from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in less than 4.2 seconds. The ceiling speed is 320 km/h (200 mph).
In order to regulate its powers, Kicherer has put in place a high-performance braking system with composite brake discs. And, in order to transfigure those powers into performance, Kicherer has opted for a sports rear axle with differential lock, a modified translation and a reprogrammed transmission control system. Thus, the Kicherer CL 65 is the ideal incarnation of its three key qualities “style”, “comfort” and “power.”
