KTM X-Bow production stopped due to poor sales

KTM X-BOW

After having sold only 80 of the 500 X-Bow track cars rolled out by KTM's factory in Graz, Austria, the company has decided to stop production. KTM is known to be a motorcycle manufacturer but before the global financial turmoil, it had high hopes for its first four-wheeled venture. KTM had planned on building 500 units of the X-Bow each year, but soon increased targets to 1,000 per year. According to reports, KTM is trying to sell the units it has left. Meanwhile, production has stopped altogether and is not expected to resume until January 2010.
