One of the newest automakers in Europe, KTM, commemorated three awards at last night's TopGear.com 2008 awards. The attractive 'Ready to Race' KTM X-Bow is Top Gear's 'Sports Car of the Year', while Stefan Pierer, KTM's CEO, and Loris Bicocchi, X-Bow Chief Chassis Engineer, are both lauded as 'Men of the Year' by Top Gear. The KTM X-Bow, which is produced in Austria, is a modest two-seater mid-engined sports vehicle, featuring a high-tech carbon fiber monocoque - that generates a driving experience that is both unadulterated and exciting. Its 2-liter TFSI Audi powerhouse produces 240 ps (177 kW) and hurls the X-Bow to 62 mph in 3.9 seconds from standstill.
