Lamborghini Murcielago successor coming in 2012

For those who don't know, the Lamborghini Murcielago made its debut back in 2002, almost 7 years ago! We have to admit that the design of the vehicle is still amazing but it seems that the Italian manufacturer is planning a successor of the supercar which will debut in 2012. According to the latest reports from Auto Motor und Sport, the new Murcielago successor will receive an aluminium space frame chassis, just like the one used on the Audi R8 which means that the new car will be lighter and more powerful. Under the hood, the vehicle will carry the 6.5-liter V12 engine capable to develop around 675 hp. The permanent all-wheel drive system will also be carried by the upcoming model!
